A Casual Explanation of the Game of Life

The late guru Sathya Sai Baba once said “Life is a game – play it”. And as with any game, whether it be physical, mental or digital, there are rules, challenges, victories, failures, goals to accomplish, and players who may either assist you or “play” against you in the accomplishment of said goals.  But what if life was an actual game? A Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) to be precise?

This educational animated video, provided by the YouTube channel Casually Explained, presents a unique, humourous and “casual” illustration of the game of life every human being “plays” from birth to death. While it highlights some of the far-from-simple aspects of life (getting older, figuring out what to do in life etc.), the overall message – a simple yet powerful one at that – is that it’s best to enjoy and make the most out of this game that we all must play.
